Durango Herald article "Durango students hear about the future of jobs" 3/1/20 describes an event organized by LINK Internship Coordinator, Janae Hunderman, in order to connect students with a variety of professionals through speed networking. 

Article in Animas High School student newspaper, The Quill, "LINK 2.0 Underway for Animas Seniors" Fall 2019, gives an update on the semester's optional senior internships. 

Durango Herald Letter to the Editor "Animas High Intern Program Appreciated" 5/14/16, sharing a parent's enthusiasm about her son's internship at StoneAge  

Durango Herald article "Businesses Find Energy, Value in Interns" 10/9/14, celebrates mentors in the Durango community. 1st Southwest Bank sponsored an event to recognize the contribution these businesses and individuals make to our Animas High School students each March during their LINK Internships.  

Durango Herald article "Leaving School to Make the World Their Classroom," 4/2/14, featuring three 2014 LINK internships--Keagan Felker's experience learning engraving with local gunsmith Marty Rabeno, Heidi Williams' internship with Oceans of the Americas in Costa Rica and Allie Rodd's foray into the medical field, interning at ABC College Clinic in Malawi.
